Ingredients
Grains & Sugars
- 1lb Crystal Malt
- 8 lbs Light Malt Extract (2 x 4lbs Mt. Mellick)
- 2 lb Clover Honey (Dutch Gold)
Bittering Hops
- 1/2 oz Sterling (5.0% aabw)
- 1/2 oz Cascade (8.7% aabw)
- 1/2 oz Chinook (11.5% aabw)
Aroma Hops
- 1/2 oz Cascade (8.7%)
- 1 oz Amarillo (8.5%)
Yeast
Timeline
0:00
- Starting with water at 150°F
- Steep loose grains in a cheesecloth bag
0:30
- Remove grain bag
- Heat water to boil
- Add gypsum
- Add 1st can of malt extract and 1/2 oz Sterling hops

1:00
1:15
- Add 2nd can of malt extract and 2 lbs honey
1:20
1:30
- Remove from heat
- Add 1/2 oz Cascades and 1 oz Amarilllo
1:40
- Remove all hops
- Cool 'er down!
